Prince George Heading To The Big Apple With Kate And William In December?

Prince George might be heading to New York City with his parents next month! According to People Magazine, the young royal could be making a trip across the pond with Prince William and Kate Middleton in December, though this has not been confirmed by the palace. Originally, William was set to make the trip himself, but since Kate missed some of her royal engagements while she was suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum during her first trimester of pregnancy, sources say that she may come to America with her husband now that she is feeling better.

“It had been thought that it might be just for him but then she missed Malta. If she is able to go and support him and show her support for an overseas trip, then it might be on,” a royal source explained.

Prince George would then come too, as his mom and dad wouldn’t leave him behind. According to Mail Online, the royal family will only be in The States for three days. If they do make the trip, it will be their first time in the U.S. since 2011. The purpose of the trip will be for the couple to unveil their new charity, United For Wildlife.

“The Duke and Duchess will meet conservationists to discuss illegal poaching and will also sit down with officials from international charities, including the World Wildlife Fund,” reports Mail Online.

This will be the Duchess’ first time visiting New York City if she does indeed make the trip. Sources say that Kate Middleton is “very excited” to see the Big Apple, as she has dreamed of visiting since she was a little girl.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Kate and William are expecting their second child in April. There has been a lot of speculation about the child’s gender, and many seem to think that it’s going to be another boy. However, there has not been any confirmation one way or the other. It is unknown if the Duke and Duchess want to find out what they are having or if they will choose to wait and be surprised.

There is also a lot of speculation surrounding Prince George’s sibling’s name. Many people believe that the couple will go with James if it’s a boy, and Elizabeth if it’s a girl.
