What do Lady Gaga, Ian Somerhalder, Carrie Underwood, and Miley Cyrus have in common? These celebrities adore their four-legged furry friends. From Gaga’s arf-affable Asia the French bulldog to Ian’s purr-perfect pal Moke the orange cat, these celebrity pets provide their owners with the unconditional love that they need.
Lady Gaga , for example, takes her friendly French bulldog Asia with her wherever she can, revealed the Daily Mail . Fittingly nicknamed Batpig, the pup peacefully perused the paparazzi art in Spain recently. In accordance with Gaga’s fashionista focus, Asia flaunted a tiny pink shirt. Awww!
However, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) expressed concern about Asia’s apparent fondness for gems. While Lady Gaga enjoys dressing up the pet pooch in jewelry, the non-profit animal rights organization contends that it’s not kind, as discussed below.
When it comes to cats, few dare to even raise the question of adorning them in any type of attire. The Vampire Diary star Ian Somerhalder doesn’t try. He just celebrates the bare-naked bliss of his orange cat Moke, reported Hollywood Life .
Moke is so attuned to his owner that the kitty even accompanied him on a People magazine photo shoot, portrayed below.
When it comes to dressing up pets, Carrie Underwood attracted attention for creating “I’m pregnant” puppy shirts for her two dogs in an unusual way of announcing her baby bump, as the Inquisitr reported.
Underwood and husband Mike Fisher dressed up the two pups, Ace and Penny, in matching blue and pink “I’m going to be a big brother” and “I’m going to be a big sister” outfits, then posted the photo on Twitter on Labor Day.

In honor of “Labor” Day…Ace & Penny would like to make an announcement. Their parents couldn’t be happier!
Miley Cyrus has made it clear that she’s a dog person. She adored her Alaskan Klee Kai puppy Floyd, and shared her heartbreak with the world via Twitter when he died, even breaking down in tears at a concert (below).
But although Cyrus mourned her dog’s death, she also shared her joy when she decided that she wanted to welcome a new dog into her heart and family. The little Shetland sheepdog puppy is nicknamed Emu, with the full name Emu Coyne Cyrus. Miley posted her happiness on Twitter and with photos on Instagram.
Time to start making Emu accounts smilers. Hes here and here to stay. I welcomed Emu Coyne Cyrus
