Congressman Urges Military Generals To Rebel Against Barack Obama Over World Crises
It is currently well-known that our president, Barack Obama, is not in a favorable position with both parties as well as the majority of the United States population. The Inquisitr reported on such, in which House Representative Steve King (R-IA) called on the people to “surround the White House” as a means to show disdain to our president. With Obama’s approval rating being worse than George W. Bush’s average, it could happen. As for Obama’s last two years as president, it is going to be hard for him, especially with a legislative branch that is a now a Republican majority.
Speaking of congressmen who speak up against Barack Obama, there are now reports of another congressman who is doing just that. This time, he is urging for the U.S. military’s top generals to rebel against the president for his failed handing of world crises.
According to article by Medium, House Representative Doug Lamborn (R-CO) states that members of Congress have been talking to U.S. generals behind the scenes, urging them to publicly resign “in a blaze of glory” if they disagree with the White House’s handling of Middle East conflicts. These remarks were made at a liberty meeting group in the basement of a Colorado Spring bar on September 23.
“A lot of us are talking to the generals behind the scenes saying ‘Hey, if you disagree with the policy that the White House has given you, let’s have a resignation.'”
“You know, let’s have a public resignation, and state your protest, and go out in a blaze of glory. I haven’t seen that very much. In fact I haven’t seen that at all in years.”
Right Wing News followed-up on the article, in which they report Barack Obama’s handling of the military as well as his treatment of military generals. Over the course of his terms, Obama has terminated the services of those in the military — especially generals — who disagree with him. For some reports, Obama is removing all the generals who want to fight, ergo eliminating any generals who think the military is for defeating enemies and firing generals who think that the threat of Islam is one that shouldn’t be ignored.
Many veterans and military personnel have presented points that may be a factor on why the military has such disdain for Barack Obama. For starters, our president has never served in the military, which some equate to not understanding how the military functions. Others have also mentioned the numerous golfing vacations he took during the most trying times regarding our national security. Even the Green Berets — the elite special forces branch of the U.S. Army — has very little faith in Obama’s plan to train the Afghan National Army (ANA).
