Big Paybacc, Dead: Gangster ‘Luv’ Rapper Killed In McDonald’s Shooting

Big Paybacc, the “Gangsta Luv 2011” rapper, is dead. According to TMZ, the rapper was shot inside of a McDonald’s restaurant in Palmdale on Thursday, November 6. Authorities say the shooting was intentional, and that Big Paybacc was a definite target. Law enforcement officials say that when they were called to the crime scene located 37217 47th St E, Palmdale, at around 12:30 p.m., they found a black male dead.

The hip hop artist’s girlfriend, identified as Jessica Jefferson, had a bad feeling when she saw his truck parked in the McDonald’s parking lot. Big Paybacc had just recently left Jefferson’s home before he arrived at the McDonald’s to get something to eat. Upon walking in to the chaotic scene, she dropped to the ground and screamed in agony as she learned about his death.

According to MyFox-LA, she made the following statement.

“I just knew it. I passed by here and I saw his truck. We were moving in together. You know we just talked to a landlord the day before and all his belongings are in the back of his truck we were going to move in together.”

On her personal Facebook page, Big Paybacc’s girl posted a very personal and emotionally anguished message.

“MY HEART IS BROKEN AND SHREDDED TO TEARS MY BABY BIG PAYBACC JUS GOT KILLED MOMENTS AFTER LEAVIN MY HOUSE IM SOOOOOO FU**IN HURT RITE NOW…. PLEASE PUT YUR PRAYERS UP FOR ME, MY NIGHA AN HIS FAMILY.”

Witnesses say Big Paybacc was seated at a table eating lunch when they observed a black man who was wearing a grey hoodie walk inside of the McDonald’s establishment and aim for the rapper. Police identified the deceased male as 38-year-old Habeeb Ameer Zekajj. News of the killing spread last night, according to CBS-Los Angeles. Police investigators are still looking for the murder suspect.

The Sheriff’s Department for LA County issued the following statement about the deadly shooting.

“There was no altercation… This guy just walked in through one door, shot him and left out another door. So it looked like something personal. He had something against this individual. It wasn’t like he shot up the McDonald’s. He just shot him and left.”

According to he website This Is 50, in 2010 rumors spread online that North Hollywood rapper Big Paybacc was dead. Some in the underground rap community say that the 2010 death rumor was either a bad joke or a publicity stunt. The A History Of Violence star leaves behind three children.
