Selena Gomez Teases ‘The Heart Wants What It Wants’ Music Video
Buzz for Selena Gomez’s first single “The Heart Wants What It Wants” has gone through the roof after a little gift appeared on her Instagram on Wednesday.
The pop princess has just dropped a tease of what looks to be a music video for the song, and anticipation to see and hear her new music debut from her “Greatest Hits” album For You is currently ripping across the Internet.
The black and white clip shows Selena walking in slow motion inside an empty, industrial-looking corridor wearing all-black killer heels, A-line shorts and a sheer shirt.
Her look is completed with hair piled Bardot-esque style.
The mood of the brief visual is emotional, as one would expect from a single most people will assume is inspired by Gomez’s on-off beau Justin Bieber.
Selena’s face isn’t seen in “The Heart Wants What It Wants” video. Like any good tease, that is still to come.
The 22-year-old’s reveal followed a major plug by Ryan Seacrest shortly before the Latina unveiled her big surprise.
In a tweet, the ubiquitous host said Selena will be dropping by his radio show, On Air With Ryan, on Thursday.
yes @selenagomez is coming to @onairwithryan tomorrow…there is something going on that you’ll want to hear

Seacrest’s follow-up tweet upped the ante more and directed fans to a link to listen to his interview with the “Come & Get It” songstress.

After those tweets, it’s not hard to see why Selenators are ramped for a possible release of Selena’s comeback single on Thursday.
For her part, the Disney alum has been gently teasing her new music since Monday.
“As I have a last listen, I thought a lot about my year. I thought a lot about my voice,” read her caption to a black and white Instagram selfie taken in a recording studio.
She added, “And after a year of holding on. I think it’s time to start sharing. #November,” referencing her relaunch month.
Then, on Tuesday, Gomez revealed a taste of some of the lyrics from “Heart Wants What It Wants,” tweeting,
“…. But I can’t imagine, a life without, breathless moments, breaking me down..”
Gomez’s For You album drops on November 24. The 15-track set features songs from her past and present, including “Naturally” and “Falling Down” from her Selena & The Scene days, right up to hits “Come & Get It” and “Slow Down” from her 2013 Stars Dance album and two new songs — “THWWIW” and “Do It.”
Both new songs are collaborations with the Rock Mafia songwriting/production team.
Jelena’s recent breakup — the reasons for which remain unclear, after a video surfaced of Selena singing Happy Birthday to Kendall Jenner with pals at a bash for the supermodel’s 19th over the weekend — adds poignancy to “The Heart Wants What It Wants” release.
And with buzz for all things Selena skyrocketing right now, this November is going to see her supernova.
