Andy Cohen’s new memoir, The Andy Cohen Diaries: A Deep Look at a Shallow Year , will be released next week, and according to the Watch What Happens Live host, it isn’t lacking in juicy tidbits about the Real Housewives .
In a new interview with E! News’ Alicia Quarels, Cohen dished on the new book.
“I don’t hold back about who called me when, what they were bitching about, who was complaining about what, what people were saying behind the scenes at reunion shows—it’s all in there, and how I got Bethenny to come back to New York Housewives.” Cohen revealed. “It’s all in there, so I think for Housewives fans, that dish is in there, too. People are always saying to me, ‘How do you deal with the Housewives,’ or, ‘What is your extent of involvement with them?’ It’s all in there.”
When Alicia Quarels asked Andy Cohen about the upcoming conclusion to the Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Season 6 reunion, Cohen spoke of the emotional roller coaster he and the cast dealt with during filming.
“Well, next week, the husbands join and all hell breaks loose, but what really winds up happening is that when we’re winding it up, I’m sitting there, looking at Teresa and she’s looking at me, and I realize this that’s happening here is the end of a six-year relationship because she’s going away for a year and it turns into something more emotional and bigger than I think either of us realized it was going to be. It was very emotional at the end.”
On October 20, Bethenny Frankel revealed she would be returning to The Real Housewives of New York City , following a three-season hiatus. As the Inquisitr reported, the former talk show revealed the news on her website.
“After many years of hesitation, I have decided to return to my roots on ‘The Real Housewives of New York City.’ I have been through a long and arduous road since my departure, and I’m finally coming out on the other side. It finally feels right to go home again,” Frankel wrote in a blog entry titled, “A New Chapter.”
According to the Inquisitr , Frankel wasn’t the only housewife excited about her return. Sonja Morgan also spoke out , telling fans she was “excited” to be reunited with the Skinnygirl creator.
Andy Cohen’s The Andy Cohen Diaries: A Deep Look at a Shallow Year hits bookshelves on November 11.
