Pippa Middleton might be best known for being the sister of Kate Middleton, but Pippa is about to forge quite the career for herself if recent rumors are true. After reported months of “secret talks.” it appears Pippa is going to be a special correspondent for the Today show.
According to Fox News, the show had already sent Middleton on a test shoot to Utah, and she passed that test with flying colors. Apparently the job stemmed from an interview Middleton did with Matt Lauer, in which she appeared quite likable and quite charismatic in front of the camera.
“NBC, along with all the major networks, has been trying to sign Pippa for some time,” a source added reported to Fox.
NBC’s deal with Pippa would be for special reports on subjects such as lifestyle and health, rather than dishing on the British royals.
Middleton has already come out as someone people enjoy looking to for health tips and eating tips. She’s also apparently someone people look to for tips on how to throw a good party. Along with her new gig on the Today show, Middleton is reportedly writing a book about the correct way to party.
Pippa Middleton has actually kept a relatively low profile since her sister Kate married the English prince, and this might be one reason Pippa has become so popular. Clearly Middleton has been able to handle herself, even while the spotlight has intensified. E!
