“Human Barbie” Attacked In Hate Crime After Receiving Threats For Two Years

One would think that “life in plastic is fantastic” for self-proclaimed human Barbie, Valeria Lukyanova. Yet, the last two years of her life have been anything but fantastic as she has faced ridicule from a hate group of anonymous strangers that disapprove of her lifestyle choice. The onslaught of hate came to a climax when she was attacked close to her home by a pair of strangers that beat and strangled her.

Valeria Luyanova chose to live the life of a human Barbie after she lost some weight and realized that her natural beauty was equal to that of a Barbie doll. The only thing missing from the equation was a pair of large breasts. After some consideration, she decided to receive breast implants to “feel like a normal girl” because her breasts were simply too small. Once the surgery was complete, her transformation into a human Barbie was complete. She swears that she has not undergone any other surgery to enhance her looks.

As a result of going public with her Barbie doll looks, many people began to hate her, some sending their disdain in the forms of hate mail and threats. Valeria did not pay much attention to the threats until she was violently attacked outside of her flat. The hate crime happened after a shopping trip as her hands were full of bags. She arrived at the entrance of her block of flats and entered the door code to go inside. As she was preoccupied, a pair of men attacked her without saying a word, only to be rescued when a neighbor came to see what the commotion was about, according to the Daily Mail.

‘It happened in a flash, they hit me on the head, several times on my jaw, then one of them began strangling me. If it wasn’t for my neighbour who who suddenly appeared, I don’t know what would have happened. They saw her and ran away.’

Although her injuries were non life threatening, she did spend the night in the hospital and was given some medicine to help with the pain. Critics have claimed the injuries are a result of plastic surgery to make her appear more like a real life Barbie doll, but Valerie denies those claims are true. The only future enhancements that she has planned are to gain muscle mass.
