New Exclusive ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ Deleted Scenes — Get Your Tissues Ready

The official The Fault In Our Stars movie hit theaters in June, taking the world by storm with the emotional story of two cancer patient teenagers who find love in a support group. The Fault In Our Stars movie, based on the young adult novel The Fault In Our Stars by John Green, had many fans and newcomers in tears throughout the duration of the experience, but many scenes were cut from the final version.

Director Josh Boone released some deleted The Fault In Our Stars scenes on the special edition Blu-ray and DVD. But there was still a lot missing from the film that was in the original The Fault In Our Stars book. For those who don’t own the movie, more and more deleted scenes from The Fault In Our Stars DVD are being released every day. That includes some brand new The Fault In Our Stars content that just hit the web.

MTV reported on the release of some exclusive The Fault In Our Stars scenes that fans probably have never seen before, officially released on the MTV YouTube page. You can watch the moments you missed from The Fault In Our Stars in the video above.

The video opens with a heart-wrenching montage of Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus Waters spending time together while they undergo cancer treatment. While The Fault In Our Stars movie did a lot to build the relationship between the lovers, this special deleted scene fills in a lot of the gaps that viewers didn’t see in between larger scenes of dialogue.

The second deleted The Fault In Our Stars scene shows the close friend of Augustus, Isaac, who had just had surgery to remove the cancer from his eye, rendering him blind. Isaac is visited by Hazel and complains that his girlfriend (who broke up with him right before the surgery) hasn’t even visited him. Always a good friend, Hazel then lightens the mood by playing a game of listing the qualities of a good nurse — a scene many The Fault In Our Stars fans will remember from Green’s original novel.

According to Time, filming for another John Green movie adaptation began yesterday in North Carolina. The movie will be based on his book Paper Towns, about a teenage boy searching for a girl who mysteriously disappeared from town. The movie will star Nat Wolff, who played Isaac in The Fault In Our Stars. After the massive success of The Fault In Our Stars, many fans will likely be flocking to the theaters to see his second major Hollywood movie.
