Teresa Giudice’s Home To Be Searched For Contraband
Teresa Giudice was recently sentenced to 15 months behind bars, but unfortunately, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star’s legal drama is far from over. Although many assumed Giudice would be a free woman once she completed her upcoming sentence, that is far from the case. According to a new report, the mother of four has a long road ahead of her.
“Giudice must check-in with her probation officer within 72 hours after leaving prison,” Radar Online reported on November 4. After that, Giudice must “permit a probation officer to visit him/her at any time at home or elsewhere, and shall permit confiscation of any contraband.”
From there, Giudice is expected to follow several court-ordered guidelines. As documents revealed, Giudice will be required to be employed at a “lawful occupation unless excused by the probation officer for schooling, training or other acceptable reasons.” If Giudice moves, her probation officer must be notified. Further, Giudice must refrain from drinking large amounts of alcohol, and controlled substances are banned.
“Giudice will need to get permission from probation officials to associate with her felon husband, Joe Giudice, because of his criminal conviction,” Radar added.
When Giudice enters her prison term on January 5, she can count on at least one visitor — Andy Cohen. According to the Inquisitr, Cohen recently said he’d love to visit the reality star.
As the Inquisitr reported earlier this week, Giudice and her family are expected to return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey for the show’s upcoming seventh season.
“It was a no brainer for Teresa to decide to do the show, because she obviously needs the money to pay off mounting debts,” a source told Radar Online on November 3. “The producers were thrilled, because it will result in a ratings bonanza.”
Following her sentencing, Giudice and her husband, Joe, were ordered to pay over $13 million. Right away, the couple listed two of their New Jersey homes. Now, Giudice hopes her paycheck for Season 7 will help her take a chunk out of the due amount.
Giudice also intends to get her daughters a decent paycheck.
“Teresa is using the girls as leverage to get more money,” the source explained. “She knows viewers will want to see how they are coping with the fallout from their parents’ legal problems.”
