Jennifer Aniston Without Makeup In ‘Cake’: Actress Calls Going Without Makeup ‘Liberating’
Jennifer Aniston went without makeup for her work in the film Cake, something that she referred to as “liberating.” According to Us Weekly via Yahoo! News, the actress was happy to only have to sit in a makeup chair to have scars painted on her face. The indie film — which is already creating major Oscar-buzz — is a pretty far cry from what Aniston is used to. However, she says that her role in the film was a welcome change, and she really liked not having to get made up every day.

Aniston called her makeup free look “so fabulous—so dreamy and empowering and liberating.” According to NewsOXY, Jen went the extra mile for her role in the film. She plays a woman who suffers from chronic pain. She interviewed people who suffered from chronic pain and watched a few documentaries to really try to understand the condition.
“[Aniston] really went there, to the point that even her fellow actors were truly impressed with her performance. She left all the self-consciousness behind her. People were really blown away,” said a source.
You can see Jennifer Aniston without makeup in Cake in 2015. It premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
In other Jennifer Aniston news, the actress and her beau, Justin Theroux, have been engaged for quite some time, but they don’t have any immediate plans to wed. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Jen and Justin have not set a wedding date or made any wedding plans since getting engaged. Despite various reports to the contrary, Jen and Justin are just focused on their respective careers.
While some might wonder why two people would get engaged without the intention of getting married, a source seems to think that this is all Justin’s doing. Apparently, he might have a bit of a commitment-phobia of sorts as he dragged his feet when it came to marrying his ex, Heidi Bivens (they broke up in 2011 after dating for 14 years).
“One moment Justin would be dropping hints to Heidi about ‘when we’re married,’ before getting really vague and ultimately dismissing it as just a piece of paper. Justin seems hesitant to even discuss the kind of ceremony he’d like [with Jen]. Their recent trip to Bora Bora was a typical example — it seems Jen wanted the beautiful setting to inspire them to talk about romantic wedding locations, but it seems Justin has become a pro at deflecting her hints.”
