Move Over Jeremy Meeks, Here Is Sean Kory, America’s New Hottest Criminal
The mug shot of Sean Kory, the man arrested by the Santacruz Police Department for an assault on a fellow Halloween reveler on Friday, is going viral on the internet, reports Yahoo! News. On Sunday, the Inquisitr reported about the arrest of Sean Kory after he assaulted a fellow reveler, dressed in a Fox News reporter costume. Kory, who apparently hated Fox News, grabbed the non-functional microphone from the individual, made an obscene gesture, and hit the person using an aluminum tennis racquet. The incident happened at a Halloween parade at Santacruz on October 31.
After hitting the person, Kory ran away from the venue – only to be arrested by the police later. The victim who was uninjured in the attack had alerted police officials who managed to nab Sean.
This seemed like any other routine arrest… until now. However, a few hours after his arrest, the Santa Cruz police department released the mug shot of Sean Kory (embedded below) for the world to see. The rest, as they say, is history. As media outlets started reporting about Sean Kory — with his mug shot included in the article — his face started to attract attention. Members of the fairer sex immediately took a liking to the “hot” guy in the mug shot.
Sean Kory is now being compared to another “hot” criminal who gained his share of internet stardom last June, when a similar mug shot was released by the Stockton Police Department. You guessed it right: Jeremy Meeks, the man who became an overnight internet sensation after women went nuts on social media over his looks.
Jeremy Meeks was later inundated with offers and even got a modeling contract, which he reportedly refused. His family members were not particularly happy with the unwanted attention he received.
