Teresa Giudice Binge Watching ‘Orange Is The New Black’ To Prep For Prison?

Teresa Giudice is just two months away from going to prison, and sources say that she’s doing everything that she can to prepare herself for the Big House. After being sentenced to prison for 15 months in a federal fraud case, Teresa realizes that life as she knows it is going to be very different. According to OK! Magazine, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has been binge watching Orange is the New Black on Netflix.

“She loves that the show deals with issues involving female inmates,” shared a source.

The reality star might be getting some tips on how to act in prison… although the show might not be the best representation of how things are going to be for Tre.

Teresa Giudice has reportedly wanted to learn how to protect herself in prison also, assuming that her table-flipping skills aren’t really going to save her in a fight. OITNB has taught Teresa that she might be faced with issues that will turn violent quickly, so she has apparently taken some self-defense classes.

“It’s actually inspired her to exercise and take self-defense classes in case any rough situations arise on the inside,” the source said.

In addition to being able to protect herself while in prison, Teresa wants to make sure she’s protected outside of prison — financially. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Teresa and her husband Joe Giudice have listed three properties for sale with plans of downsizing.

Teresa and Joe are hoping to right themselves in the world by living a more average lifestyle and being realistic with their money. Since Teresa will be in jail for a little over a year and then Joe will go to jail for over three years, life for the Giudices is going to be tough… so they are reportedly trying to get everything in order so that they don’t really have to worry about money for the next few years.

According to Us Weekly, Teresa has been spending all of her pre-prison time with her family. Her four daughters are her life, and she has expressed that many times. Teresa has been sharing numerous photos of her girls on Instagram, trying to make and capture as many memories as possible before January 5 (the day she has to report to prison) arrives. She has also been working on special videos for her girls that will hopefully get them through the tough times without their mom.

“Teresa has been taping videos for her daughters to watch during her incarceration. ‘There will be one for birthdays, one for holidays, and a video with words of encouragement for when they’re sad,'” another source revealed.
