Jessa Duggar Wedding News: The Dress, First Kiss, And Baby On The Way?

Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald won’t be side-hugging any more. Wedding bells played on Saturday, November 1, when the stars of 19 Kids and Counting said “I do” at the First Baptist Church in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Many fans of the show are anxious to take a look at Jessa’s wedding dress, see photos of the couple’s first kiss, and learn about other details about of the couple’s big day. On Friday night, the family reportedly snacked on Frito pie and enjoyed ice tea after Jessa and Ben’s wedding rehearsal. Less than 24 hours later, the couple tied the knot.

US Weekly states that Jessa and Ben did not share their first kiss at their wedding ceremony. They plan to share their first intimate moment in private.

Here are some of the details about Jessa and Ben’s wedding, honeymoon (and their baby-making plans) that will keep you in-the-know until the wedding is aired on TV.

What time did the ceremony start? The invitation states that the wedding will begin at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Bentonville, Arkansas. It looks like things went smoothly for the couple, although very little has been leaked out about the ceremony.

How many people are going? Us Weekly states that the couple invited 1,000 guests to their wedding, but there are alternate reports that say the guest list hovers around 800. Needless to say, it’s going to be a big wedding, although Jessa made it clear that it will be a “simple” one.

“When you’re planning a wedding, you can make it complicated or make it simple, and we are trying to make ours simple.”

Speaking of bridesmaids, Jessa’s sister, Jinger, was her maid-of-honor. There’s no word on who Ben Seewald’s chose as his best man, but he had 10 ushers by his side.

Where’s the party? The reception location is unknown at this time, but designated drivers won’t be necessary for any of the guests — there reportedly won’t be any liquor flowing at the Duggar wedding.

“The Duggars think booze is a totally lame — and definitely not a necessary ingredient for a successful party. After accidentally having a sip of spiked punch, Jessa deemed liquor to be ‘disgusting.'”

Where’s the honeymoon? The location of the soon-to-be newlyweds has not been disclosed, but the Inquisitr previously reported that it probably won’t be a tropical vacation. Jessa’s mom, Michelle Duggar, believes that the beach should be avoided because “it’s just too hard for the guys to try to keep their eyes averted.”

However, newlyweds Jill (Duggar) Dillard and her husband Derick went on a beach-front honeymoon, so it can’t be ruled out — although the paparazzi probably won’t catch Jessa in a not-so-modest bikini if her mother packs her honeymoon bag.

Will Jessa and Ben start trying to have a family right as soon as they get married? According to the Duggar family rules, chest-to-chest contact is allowed once a married couple is on their honeymoon, so there’s no doubt that the couple will be having sex on their wedding night. Whether that results in a baby is something fans will find out about in a few months, if Jessa is as fertile as her newly-pregnant sister Jill.

“In today’s day and time, it’s a little bit strange to be in our early twenties and have not had sex. But it’s how our parents did it.”

There’s a good possibility that Jessa will outdo her mother in the kid department. In a clip from TLC’s upcoming engagement special that airs November 4, Jessa states that she “might have more than 19 kids” with Ben. She plans to do things differently than her parents, though, stating that their children won’t all be biological because they plan to “adopt a lot.”

TLC is reportedly filming the couple’s big day, so it’s likely most of the photos and videos from Jessa and Ben’s wedding will be kept under wraps until the wedding airs on 19 Kids and Counting next season.
