Kate Middleton Babymoon: Duke And Duchess Of Cambridge, Prince George Embrace Family Time
It seems Kate Middleton’s pregnancy is now going a bit more smoothly, as reports indicate that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, along with Prince George, are now off on a quiet vacation. The trio is said to be relaxing at Balmoral Palace in Scotland for a bit.
According to E! News, William, Kate, and George arrived in Scotland Tuesday afternoon. Earlier in the pregnancy, Kate Middleton was suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, which she dealt with during her pregnancy with Prince George as well. Luckily, she is now feeling better, and she was able to get back out for some public appearances last week. She hadn’t been seen prior to that since announcing her pregnancy.
The royals have revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s baby is due in April, but naturally they haven’t shared anything more specific than that. Middleton’s first public appearance revealed a tiny baby bump, and fans were glad to see her able to throw herself back into the mix of things again. Kate also joined William in welcoming the president of Singapore, and his wife, to the United Kingdom.
Balmoral Palace is the home of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, but it is said that they are not at the estate right now. William, Kate, and George will seemingly have a bit of quiet family time together there then, though there is a full staff there to assist them.
Us Weekly says that it was Prince William’s idea to get away for a few days as a family. After a rough couple of months early in the pregnancy, it seems he thought that now was a perfect time to take a break and enjoy some family time. They both love the outdoors, and apparently thought that the weather would still be nice enough that they could embrace a little getaway.
Prince George is now 14-months-old, and it seems he’s become a great traveler. Fans of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge don’t necessarily get many opportunities to see the tyke out and about, but the family seems to be doing quite well. Naturally, royal watchers will be anxious to see how he does in adjusting to becoming a big brother come April.
It’s not clear quite yet how many appearances the Duchess of Cambridge will make over the next few months of her pregnancy. If she’s feeling well, she likely will maintain a regular slate of outings.
As royal watchers know, come March and April, she probably will be seen less and the royal baby watch will begin in earnest. Will Kate Middleton’s baby be a boy or a girl? Many are still hoping for twins, though there really is no sign that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have two babies on the way rather than one. Here’s hoping Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Prince George have a relaxing babymoon in Scotland.
