Jessa Duggar’s Honeymoon Won’t Be On A Beach — Here’s Why
Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald are getting married on November 1, but the 19 Kids and Counting stars probably won’t be taking a tropical honeymoon. In Touch reports that Jessa’s mom, Michelle Duggar, feels that all of her daughters should avoid the beach, even in modest Duggar-approved swimwear.
Although People reports that Jessa’s sister, Jill, celebrated her honeymoon with Derick Dillard in a rented beach house in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, in June, it seems that her attire was limited to shorts and t-shirts, with no bikini in sight.

Why does Michelle Duggar want her 21-year-old daughter, Jessa, to avoid a beach honeymoon? It’s just part of their modest lifestyle that includes no kissing before marriage and no chest-to-chest contact until the honeymoon.
“It’s just too hard for the guys to try to keep their eyes averted.”
While bikinis and thong swimsuits may be off-limits for Jessa Duggar on her honeymoon, it’s a relief to know that she will be able to do more than hold Ben Seewald’s hand once they tie the knot on Saturday. Jessa and Ben will kiss for the first time on November 1 when they get married in front of an estimated 800 guests in Bentonville, Arkansas.
Will they start trying for their first baby on their wedding night like Jessa’s sister Jill did? Time will tell, but the newlyweds plan on having a big family, possibly even bigger than the 19 kids her parents, Michelle and Jim Bob had.

The 19 Kids and Counting star tells People that she and her soon-to-be husband Ben Seewald want to have a “whole bunch of kids,” and they want to adopt “a lot” of them. How many is a bunch? It looks like Jessa wants to one-up her parents by having more than 19 children.
“I might have more than 19 kids. Probably not all biological, but I want to adopt a lot.”
Watch Jessa and Ben talk about marriage and children on a special episode of 19 Kids and Counting on TLC on November 4. The pre-recorded one hour engagement special starts at 9 p.m. ET on TLC.
