Leah Calvert may have sent a positive tweet to fans on Monday morning, but unfortunately, the Teen Mom 2 star’s marital troubles are far from over. According to a new report, the reality star and mother of three has restricted herself to her home since claims were made regarding her alleged affair with Robbie Kidd.
Leah “is a prisoner in her own home,” an insider told Life & Style on October 29, adding that Leah hasn’t left her home since her husband’s parents, Tammy and Lynn Calvert, began trashing her on social media.
“She feels totally trapped, with her in-laws’ house only a few feet away. She feels like her every move is being watched.”
Leah Calvert’s husband, Jeremy, announced on October 17 that his wife of two years had cheated on him with her ex-boyfriend, Robbie.
As the Inquisitr reported, Jeremy took to Twitter , where he told fans, “Well that was a surprise kinda u did it to Corey and now me with the same person good job sl*t. It’s me and to the ones who think it’s fake or bs it’s not filing this am k.”
In addition to her fears of leaving home, Leah Calvert is also reportedly dealing with an addiction to prescription pills. According to the Inquisitr , Leah has allegedly purchased up to 40 pills at once.
“I used to give Leah the pills myself; she’s picked up 30 to 40 pills at a time from me,” the reality star’s alleged drug dealer told In Touch Weekly on October 22, noting Leah’s drugs of choice as painkillers Vicodin, Lortab, Percocet, and Oxycodone.
“She was withdrawing $1,000 a week to buy pills,” the alleged dealer explained.
In the past, Leah’s mother, Dawn Spears, has denied her daughter’s drug use, but according to someone else close to the star, she’s headed down a dark path.
“I’ve seen Leah pop a handful of pills, chew them like they were candy and swallow them. She doesn’t even need anything to wash them down with,” a family insider told In Touch Weekly . “But it’s [actually] the pain from withdrawal that bothers her, not her back. She can’t go a day without opiates.”
Because of Leah’s alleged issues with drugs, her friends are worried about her being stuck at home.
“[Leah Calvert] keeps falling asleep all the time — pals are worried she’s doing that when she’s supposed to be watching the kids [twins Aliannah and Aleeah, 4, and 9-month-old Adalynn],” a second source told Life & Style . “They think she’s on more than just anti-anxiety medication. She could lose everything if she doesn’t shape up.”
