Pippa Middleton Reveals How She Stays In Shape Despite Her Love Of Chocolate
Pippa Middleton, who is best known by most as the sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, is also remembered for stealing the limelight, just a little, from her sister at the royal wedding back in 2011.
Although Kate and Pippa look a bit alike and are clearly sisters, many people around the time of the wedding suggested that Pippa had an even better figure than Kate, which is no easy feat.
In her new monthly column, which Pippa Middleton is writing for Britain’s Waitrose Weekend magazine, Kate’s younger sister shares her workout and dieting secrets with readers of the publication, and even admits that she has a serious weakness for chocolate and wine.
Pippa is reportedly working alongside a nutritionist and personal trainer to help her come up with recipes and fitness tips for readers of the magazine, which is published by Waitrose, one of the largest supermarket chains in Britain.
In her debut column, Pippa Middleton debunked the rumors that she is a strict Dukan follower, and shared an effective 30-minute workout that can be done at home.
In her new column, Pippa shared, “I grew up with the belief that good health is about moderation in all things, so I’ll be celebrating healthy living through exercise, a balanced diet and a little of the naughty stuff sprinkled in — I’m talking chocolate, crisps, and the occasional glass of wine.”
As far as fad diets like Dukan and Atkins are concerned, Pippa wrote that she is far more into a living with a healthy worldview than she is into “quick-fix diets.”
“I’ve never done Dukan, attempted Atkins or exercised religiously seven days a week, but I do believe in making healthy choices — keeping refined carbs such as white bread and pasta to a minimum, and sticking to sensible portion sizes,” she added.
Pippa Middleton explained that doing regular workouts on a weekly basis is key to staying fit, slim, and healthy.
“I know that if I fit in at least three, ideally five, sessions of exercise a week, be it a 30-minute run, an hour’s walk or a good game of tennis, it boosts my mood and energy, and helps me sleep and digest better. So I make it a priority, whatever the weather or my work schedule,” she shared.
