Justin Bieber Charms Rev. Jesse Jackson At Knicks Game, While Taylor Swift Hung With Karlie Kloss
Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift attended the New York Knicks’ season opener against the Chicago Bulls at Madison Square Garden last night.
The two singers didn’t have a run-in with each other — “awkward” or otherwise — as can be plainly seen from shots online.
Of far more interest than a gossip site claim about a Justin Bieber-Taylor Swift interaction that didn’t happen is what did.
Pictures of Bieber, 20, at the game, showed the sports loving Canadian chatting away like an old friend to civil rights leader Reverend Jesse Jackson, 73.
The pair sat a few rows back from Swift and seemed to spend much of the game wrapped up in whatever they talked about, even at dramatic moments when the crowd cheered.
From a gander at other outlets reporting on their encounter, everyone wants to know what the reverend and the wild star found so interesting.
Spiritual guidance? The game? Ice-cream?
Before the game, Justin was spotted at Nobu Tribeca. Later at the Garden, the singer was sandwiched between Jackson and Hillsong NYC pastor Carl Lentz, whom the “Baby” star is currently staying with in New Jersey on a religious retreat.
The change of pace is reportedly down to the Biebs’ recent split from on-off girlfriend, the actress-singer Selena Gomez.
After the Chicago Bulls saw off the Knicks 104-80, the heartthrob was mobbed outside the stadium by fans.

Meanwhile, the just announced Global Welcome Ambassador for New York also looked to be having a laugh at the game.
Taylor sat courtside with best friend and supermodel Karlie Kloss in matching black. The best friends were seen chatting up a storm to actor Ben Stiller and others at the game.
“Karlie and I had the time of our lives at the Knicks game tonight. See you tomorrow bright and early on Good Morning America!” Taylor captioned an Instagram after their Madison Square Garden outing.
At the Knicks pre-season scrimmage on Sunday, the “Out of the Woods” songstress had fun landing a hoop after she was assisted by Carmelo Anthony and Amar’e Stoudemire.
So to recap: Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber didn’t have an “awkward run-in” at the Knicks game.
But they did have fun.
