‘The Bachelor’ Tournament Of Roses Parade Float: Chris Soules, Franchise Favorites To Appear
ABC’s The Bachelor 2015 will kick off the season in a new way, and surely the show is kicking itself that it hadn’t gone this route before. For the first time ever, the show will have a float in the 126th Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year’s Day. There will be plenty of roses, naturally, but who will be riding on the float?
Yahoo! TV reports that The Bachelor 2015 star Chris Soules, along with Chris Harrison, will be on the Rose Parade float. In addition, it is teased that “a selection of married couples” from the franchise will also be on the float.
The theme of the 2015 Rose Parade is “Inspiring Stories,” and apparently The Bachelor float will be a tribute to the theme of “Inspiring Love.” Though fans will have to wait a couple of months yet to see the float in all of its glory, some tidbits about the design are already available.
The Bachelor parade float will have plenty of features known to fans of the show. There will be a replicate of the notorious Bachelor mansion along with some champagne flutes and even a hot tub. Who will they convince to hang out in the float hot tub? That much isn’t clear quite yet.
Chris Soules will not only be on the float, but there will be some accents referencing his Iowa farm lifestyle as well. Apparently there will be some corn husks from Soules’ actual farm on the parade float. Of course while there will be some franchise success story couples there, Chris’ final lady won’t be able to be there.
Zap2It notes that the float guests aside from Chris Harrison and Chris Soules will be announced at a later date. Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried are getting married in January, and Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray seem headed toward a spring or summer wedding. If the float will have only already married couples, it would seem fans shouldn’t expect to see these two pairs.
Ashley and JP Rosenbaum just had a baby, so they may not be up for a commitment like that quite yet, though fans would love to see them on the float. That would seemingly leave Catherine and Sean Lowe, Molly and Jason Mesnick and Ryan and Trista Sutter as the likely float candidates. However, the show may end up going with a combination of recently engaged and already married couples to give fans a mix of their favorites.
Filming of Soules’ season of ABC’s The Bachelor 2015 likely will wrap up within the next two to three weeks and fans can’t wait to see how this season goes. There have been some The Bachelor spoilers out already, but all of the juiciest stuff remains under wraps for now.
Be sure to tune in to the 2015 Rose Parade on January 1 to see Chris and The Bachelor float covered in 25,000 roses, some franchise couples and the hot tub. Then, tune in to the premiere of ABC’s The Bachelor 2015 airing on Monday, January 5 to see Chris Soules begin his journey to find love.
