Derek Hough And Bethany Mota Go On Spooky Date, Get Terrorized By Creepy Clown [Video]

Derek Hough and Bethany Mota celebrated Halloween early by visiting a haunted house together.

The Dancing with the Stars partners looked pretty cozy in a photo that Bethany Mota posted on her Instagram page. Bethany put on a fearful face while Derek Hough hugged her tight from behind.

According to The Epoch Times, the DWTS duo recently got their scare on at the Raymond Hill Mortuary in South Pasadena, California. Unsurprisingly, their spooky outing sparked more dating speculation. Some fans argued that Derek Hough and Bethany Mota can’t be a couple because of their age difference — Derek is 29 while Bethany is just 18. However, one fan offered a compelling argument for why they shouldn’t let the 11-year gap keep them from dating.

“Yeah that would be totally fine if they dated tbh because jay z and beyonce are 12 years apart,” the Team Berek fan explained.

Dancing with the Stars fans might think that Derek Hough and Bethany Mota make a cute couple, but it’s possible that their haunted house visit wasn’t a romantic date — perhaps they were just getting ready for the DWTS spook-tacular airing tonight on ABC. Tonight’s dances will be Halloween-themed, so expect to see the celebs and their partners rocking extra-elaborate costumes in the ballroom.

The competitors will also be participating in two team dances tonight. In a TV Guide blog post, Derek wrote that Bethany was totally unprepared to be the captain of her crew, which chose the name Team Itsy Bitsy. According to Hough, poor Bethany didn’t even know that there was going to be a team dance.

“Bethany didn’t even know what the team dance was! She was like, ‘What are you talking about?’ I felt bad because I hadn’t prepped her for it or talked about it. Plus, now, the pros can’t be in the room when the celebs pick teams… So I was watching it and I was like, ‘Crap! I didn’t talk to her about this!’ But she picked great. We have an awesome team.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Hough and Mota’s team consists of another Dancing with the Stars duo that has sparked dating rumors, Val Chmerkovskiy and Janel Parrish. Val and Janel were also recently spotted out on a Halloween “date,” and they even wore matching costumes. The other members of Team Itsy Bitsy are Michael Waltrip, Emma Slater, Lea Thompson, and Artem Chigvintsev.

Derek Hough and Bethany Mota will be dancing the paso doble for their couples’ dance, and Hough shared a pretty romantic-looking Instagram photo of his pretty partner getting prepped for their sexy routine.
