Bérénice Marlohe and Naomie Harris Are the New Bond Girls [Video]
In the last few weeks there has been plenty of casting news for the new James Bond movie. Javier Bardem will be playing the new Bond Villain. Albert Finney will be playing M’s boss in Bond 23. And now, one of the last pieces of the puzzle has fallen into place. Berenice Marlohe and Naomie Harris will be the new Bond girls.
Berenice Marlohe was introduced at a news conference in London today. Daniel Craig, Marlohe, and Harris (who may be playing the new Moneypenny) revealed that the title of the new Bond movie will indeed by “Skyfall.”
Here’s a video of the press conference.
The new Bond girls and the title of the movie were both revealed at the conference, but not much else. Director Sam Mendes is still being tight-lipped about the plot of “Skyfall.” Mendes did, however, promise that there would be “plenty of action.”
According to Star Pulse, Berenice is a French actress who has never appeared in an English language film. Harris was discovered after the producers saw her in a French car commercial. Harris has also had 11 acting roles in films like L’art de Seduire.
According to the Mirror, Harris, 35, is best known for starring as Amy Jackson in “The Tomorrow People.” Harris also played Selena in the movie “28 Days Later” and appeared in the second and third Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
Here’s a look at Berenice Marlohe in a short film called “Gone” by Thomas Claisse.
