‘Vampire Diaries’: Did Nina Dobrev And Ian Somerhalder Really End Feud?

The Vampire Diaries is known for drama on the small screen, but there has been drama on the Vampire Diaries set in recent months due to the rumored feud between Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder. In fact, the feud could cause one of the pair to leave the series at the end of Season 6.

The CW is currently making plans for a seventh season of the popular series. International Business Times reported that only two of the three leads have signed up for Vampire Diaries Season 7. It has not yet been revealed who has not signed up yet, but it was revealed that the actor is not sure they want to continue with their role on the series.

What is causing the on-set drama for the cast of The Vampire Diaries? Ian Somerhalder’s new relationship with Nikki Reed is the cause of the problems for Nina Dobrev. Nikki has moved in with Ian, and she became a frequent visitor on set following her move.

That has now ended. Inquisitr previously reported that producers of the series have banned Nikki Reed from visiting the set. Producers made the request because Nina is having issues with the new woman in her ex’s life being constantly on-set. In fact, she is bothered so much by the visits and the new relationship that she might be the one to leave the series at the end of Season 6.

Is Nina Dobrev the contract holdout? Have Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder already signed on for Season 7 of The Vampire Diaries? That is not known. Nina Dobrev is crossing over to The Originals for an episode, and it is possible this new doppelganger could take her to the other series permanently.

However, there is news of truce between Nina and Ian on set, and the former couple have worked together less this season. Damon is currently stuck on the other side, and Elena found a way to wipe the existence of their love from her memories. That will not last forever. Ian and Nina could be forced to work together closely for future episodes.

Nina Dobrev has also remained active on social media, and she made another interesting share on her Who Says account on Friday. She shared an image about zombies and men.

Was this share by Nina a small dig toward Ian? Is Dobrev saying that Somerhalder is the type of man that looks more toward the physical than the mental with his relationships? There is no way to know for sure, but Nina has sent other messages that have pertained to her life on social media. This simple share could be another instance of that.
