Jill Duggar Pregnancy Update: ’19 Kids And Counting’ Star Talks Cravings, Filming Birth, And More Kids
Jill Duggar’s pregnancy is in the second trimester now, and the 19 Kids & Counting star seems to be doing really well. Jill and Derick Dillard have been in New York this week doing some media, likely because their wedding is finally about to air on TLC. The two are sharing plenty of tidbits about the pregnancy, including a gender reveal this week, and fans don’t want to miss any of the details.
E! Online shares that Jill Dillard’s baby is a boy, even though she had thought it would be a girl. She has had some cravings, but it doesn’t seem it’s been anything too crazy. She says that in her first trimester, she wanted everything cold due to the nausea, and after that she wanted everything to be cold, sour, and salty. Dill pickles have been a bit hit apparently, and Jill says she takes after her mom in that regard.
Will Derick and Jill’s baby delivery be shown on 19 Kids & Counting? Though many fans would probably assume it’ll be shown, Jill says they’re still talking about it. She said via a chat with Fox & Friends that 19 Kids & Counting is already filming the next season, and there will be a lot of the build-up to the “Baby Dilly” arrival.
Jill said they have filmed the gender reveal and other things like that for the show, but the actual birth may be kept a bit more private. Surely fans can expect to see plenty of footage from right before and after the birth, but many 19 Kids fans would say it’s understandable if Jill and Derick want to keep a bit of it to themselves.
Derick says that this past year has definitely been a whirlwind, as the couple connected via Skype, met, courted, got engaged, married, and pregnant all in one year. However, Derick says that it’s been an exciting, awesome experience. The Dillards are already talking about having a big family and they are open to adoption as well, especially since Derick’s mom was adopted.
19 Kids & Counting fans have waited all season to watch Jill Duggar’s wedding to Derick Dillard, and it finally airs Tuesday night on TLC. The following week, an “enhanced” episode of Jill’s wedding airs, likely including additional footage of the big day. At this point, TLC hasn’t indicated when the next season of the show will air, but fans are glad to know it’s already being filmed.
