‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’ Cancelled After Mama June Allegedly Dates Child Molester

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo has officially been cancelled by the TLC network. This comes after multiple reports that the family’s matriarch, Mama June, was dating a convicted child molester, who reportedly molested a member of her own family before being sent to prison.

Reports surfaced that Mama June had gotten back together with her ex-boyfriend, Mark McDaniel, after her split from husband Sugar Bear. McDaniel was only recently released from prison after he was convicted of forcing oral sex on an 8-year-old child.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, The Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star then spoke out on Facebook, releasing a statement about how she would never put her children in danger by dating a child molester.

“I want to make a post trying to clear up the rumors. Remember you can’t believe everything you read! Ppl sell stories to the tabloid everyday that r false! It isn’t true I promise my kids r #1 priority over anything else and I would never put them in danger period over this or anything else they r my life this is my past I left him 10 yrs ago for it and I wouldn’t go back.”

Meanwhile, TMZ claims that TLC isn’t buying Mama June’s story, and while reassessing the future of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, decided to cancel the already controversial series. This is likely because they believed Mama June Shannon was putting her daughters, and granddaughter, in danger by dating Mark McDaniel, the convicted child molester.

However, TLC hasn’t washed their hands completely of the Honey Boo Boo family. The network has reportedly graciously offered to pay for the children to have tutors and counselors, which they will greatly need if Mama June is, in fact, dating a child molester.

Fans of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo are outraged that Mama June Shannon seems to be carrying on a relationship with Mark McDaniel. New photos — which the family call “photoshopped” — have surfaced showing the two together at a hotel party, sparking anger among viewers.

Honey Boo Boo fans have taken to social media to weigh in with their opinions on the situation, and it seems that many are siding against Mama June Shannon, and believe that she may be back in contact with her ex child molester boyfriend, Mark McDaniel.
