‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’ Trailer – More Details You May Have Missed
The Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer was leaked ahead of time, much to Marvel’s annoyance. Unlike Fox though (pulling the Deadpool test trailer from the internet), Marvel simply pulled a “dagnabbit” stance on Twitter as previously reported by The Inquisitr.
All of the known heroes were present in the trailer, though some could be the recipient of Joss Whedon’s previously teased “death” rumor. If you’re only going by the trailer, you may have noticed a scene following the supposed death of Captain America. However, the fact that Captain America 3 is still coming and starring Chris Evans is enough to make us realize that he won’t die yet in Avengers 2.
The detail which seems to be most elusive, yet important, is the cameo by Andy Serkis, who is rumored to be playing the role of Black Panther. Combine that with Cap’s broken shield, and we have what appears to confirm a trip to Wakanda, Black Panther’s homeland, to obtain Vibranium and rebuild the shield.
Another possible confirmation comes from Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.), whose words in the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer allude to the idea that he’s done with the team. This could also be foreshadowing the Marvel Civil War, which the comics made clear as a political confrontation between Iron Man and Captain America and their respective teams. His words signaled the possible end of his involvement, possibly feeling guilty about creating Ultron. He is also noticeably missing from a lot of the trailer’s group shots.
“This is the end. The end of the path I started us on.”
This could mean Robert Downey, Jr. is not only stepping down from a possible Iron Man 4, but also the Avengers 3 cast itself. War Machine’s James Rhodes may take his place as he did momentarily in Iron Man 3, though Robert has been cast in Captain America 3. He could also be temporarily quitting the team.
Other possible Marvel Easter eggs in the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer include a mansion at the top of a mountain somewhere remote, and a scene in which someone we don’t know is tackling someone else out of gunfire.
The mansion may be foreshadowing Dr. Strange, who sees his intro to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Phase Three. While he’s not yet a hero, it could be his summer home. As a respected surgeon before an accident takes his hands, he probably has the money for it. Another scene in the movie shows a hospital gurney and possible surgical equipment, adding to the possibility that Dr. Strange will have an off-camera role in the movie.

There is also a mysterious character in yellow, wearing what appears to be a martial arts belt tied in the back. The trailer could be showing us our first glimpse of Iron Fist. We only see him for a split second, but the costume looks very similar.
It appears that Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) isn’t as much in control of his condition as he thought. The first time he said his secret was that he was “always angry,” but several times in the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer, we see him apparently struggling to control it. This appears to explain why Iron Man is seen in his Hulkbuster armor and why the two fight.
