The teaser trailer for The Avengers sequel, The Avengers: Age of Ultron , has shown up in a few different incarnations at both the San Diego Comic-Con last summer and at the recent New York Comic-Con, according to Ain’t-It-Cool. However, for the 99.9 precent of Marvel fans that couldn’t get to either outing, they’ve been chomping at the bit to get just a glimpse of the Joss Whedon-helmed sequel.
Finally, Marvel has heard our pleas and is going to release the teaser trailer to the world.

So there you have it. Tying in The Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is obvious in retrospect. While everyone was trying to figure out what film the trailer would be tied to, everyone forgot about the tie-in series Marvel has on ABC.
There’s been several different reports on the teaser trailer, so I’ve sort of mashed them together to give you an overview of what to expect regarding a description of the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer.
SPOILERS
The trailer apparently starts out with the scene that’s shown in the above tweet. The Avengers, fresh off a battle, are relaxing together somewhere along with James Rhodes (Don Cheadle).
Stark and Rhodes are trying to lift Thor’s hammer, Mjölnir, with the assistance of their Iron Man technology, (Stark comments, “If I lift this, I get to rule Asgard?”) but neither budges it.
Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) sits back, unimpressed as she watches the men compete while sipping a beer.
Captain America (Chris Evans) attempts to lift the hammer. Cap is the only one to move the hammer, just an inch-or-so, much to Thor’s (Chris Hemsworth) dismay.
At that moment, Ultron, (voiced by James Spader) the robotic antagonist breaks into the room effectively calling them hypocrites and killers.
The rest of the trailer is reportedly non-stop action set to the haunting tune of “I’ve Got No Strings” from Disney’s Pinocchio – a clear reference to the artificial intelligence of Ultron.
The Hulk is seen battling Iron Man in Hulkbusting Armor, and also Vision, played by Paul Bettany, according to Cinema Blend.
The final scene shows Tony Stark as Iron Man walking up a hill where the various Avengers lay broken, beaten and bloody. A shot of Captain America’s shield shows that it is shattered. Something menacing and out of view appears above Iron Man, he looks up…
Avengers: Age of Ultron reaches theaters on May 1, 2015. Our first glimpse of it will be during the episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on October 28!
