Bill Cosby A Rapist? Hannibal Buress Thinks So

Comedian Hannibal Buress has accused Bill Cosby of being a “rapist” during his stand-up set.

Buress made the declaration last Thurday while in Philadelphia. This comes just a few months after fresh accusations surrounding the 77-year-old television and comedy legend’s past were reported.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Philadelphia Magazine have a video of Buress’ comments. But you can read what he is alleged to have stated below.

“Thirteen? It’s even worse because Bill Cosby has the f—ing smuggest old black man public persona that I hate. He gets on TV, ‘Pull your pants up black people, I was on TV in the 80s. I can talk down to you because I had a successful sitcom.’ Yeah, but you rape women, Bill Cosby, so turn the crazy down a couple notches.

‘I don’t curse onstage.’ Well, yeah, you’re rapist, so I’ll take you saying lots of motherf—ers on Bill Cosby: Himself, if you weren’t a rapist. I don’t know what I’m doing by telling you. I guess I want to just at least make it weird for you to watch Cosby Show reruns.

Dude’s image, for the most part, it’s f–king public Teflon image. I’ve done this bit on stage and people think I’m making it up….That shit is upsetting. If you didn’t know about it trust me. When you leave here, Google ‘Bill Cosby rape.’ It’s not funny. That shit has more results than ‘Hannibal Buress’.”

Last month, a new book from Mark Whitaker, entitled Cosby: His Life and Times, detailed a number of sordid rumors surrounding Cosby’s past. Whitaker’s book alleges that Cosby was involved in a number of affairs while he was younger, and it even states that he had a love child with a woman named Shawn Berkes.

“Finding himself alone in Vegas for a month, Cosby called Shawn Berkes again. He invited her to join him for another rendezvous at the Hilton. But when Berkes arrived at his suite on the thirtieth floor, she had a surprise. She reached into her purse and pulled out a photo of a fourteen-month-old baby, a little girl with curly hair and olive skin named Autumn. ‘This is your daughter,’ Berkes said.”

Back in 2004 Cosby was accused of assaulting over a dozen women. In August 2006 the actor also finally reached an out-of-court settlement with a Canadian woman who stated that he had attacked her in his home in Philadelphia in 2004.
