Teresa Giudice Scared Joe Will Have Heart Attack While She’s In Jail
Teresa Giudice is heading to jail in less than three months and one of her biggest worries is the health of her husband, Joe Giudice. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star is not only concerned about the well-being of her four daughters, she is scared that Joe will have a heart attack while she serves out her 15 month jail sentence.
Joe admitted to Andy Cohen on a recent Watch What Happens Live special that he may have a drinking problem. Apparently, Teresa thinks his wine drinking is going to do him in, with US Weekly’s sources stating that Joe not only drinks up to “four bottles of wine a night,” he’s been binge-eating as well. Back in June, Joe’s father died unexpectedly of a heart attack, so Teresa thinks the same thing may happen to her husband while she’s in prison.
Stress seems to be getting the better of Teresa. US Weekly reports she is reportedly “deeply depressed” and has not been eating or sleeping since she was sentenced to prison. Aside from her worries about Joe’s health, she is concerned that he won’t be able to properly care for their four daughters while she is locked up.

To add to her stress, Radar Online reports that Teresa has been fighting non-stop with Joe about money. Countless rumors have been circulating online that she will divorce Joe in an effort to save her job as a RHONJ cast member, but according to her crisis manager, Wendy Feldman, she has no intentions of leaving him. Feldman spoke to E! last month and stated that Teresa and Joe are not getting a divorce and their legal issues “have brought them closer together.”
Although Feldman states that Teresa and Joe are staying married, it’s likely that there is a lot of tension in their home as it gets closer to the time that Joe will have to temporarily take over being “Mr. Mom.” While she waits for Jan. 5, the date she is due to turn herself in to federal prison, she is working on a project for her daughters.
US Weekly states that Teresa has been working on a series of videos for her daughters Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana so her daughters can see and hear her anytime they want while she’s in jail. Making the videos is probably a bit cathartic for the reality star, amidst all the financial and personal stress she is under.
“She wants to make tapes for them. There will be one for birthdays, one for holidays, and a video with words of encouragement for when they’re sad.”
Hopefully, Joe makes some better lifestyle choices (and financial ones, too) now that he’s going to be responsible for the four girls while Teresa serves out her sentence. There’s no wine served in prison, so perhaps Joe will start weaning himself off of his nightly wine-fest so he doesn’t have withdrawals when he starts serving time once Teresa is released.
