Iggy Azalea’s Ex Claims The Rapper Gave Him An STD
Iggy Azalea’s “husband,” the guy who claims that he was legally entangled in a common law marriage with the Australian rapper, has a brand new story to tell. According to him, Azalea is responsible for giving him an STD. Wicked burn, indeed.
If dealing with the whole divorce story wasn’t enough for Iggy, now she had to contend with rumors that she once gave her ex a sexually transmitted disease. Not surprisingly, Azalea claims there’s absolutely no truth to the rumor. However, that isn’t stopping folks from discussing the matter at-length on social media.
According to SFGate, Iggy Azalea took to Twitter (where else?) to discuss the STD rumor. The rapper said she was threatened by alleged husband Jefe Wine’s lawyers earlier this week. In short: settle this whole marriage thing out of court or face the consequences. The fallout, of course, was the STD story. But she beat them to the punch.
“I also was told yesterday via his lawyer if i do not settle out of court they will go to the press and say i gave him (Wine) an STD, whats next? Unfortunately to file common law ‘divorce’ all you need is three of your friends to sign a statement swearing the persons story is true. Actually proving it in court is another story im just waiting to get infront of a judge so it can be disproven & obtain a restraining order.”
Iggy Azalea didn’t end her Twitter rant there.
“The thing that i find awfully sad about this whole story is that the mother of this mans 3 year old child is in court right now… saying he stalked, headbutted and tried to strangle her in january after their 7 year relationship ended. Why is her truth being overlooked in favor of sensationalism? It makes me so sad & my heart goes out to Annette Buitrago. Ive avoided texas entirely for the last 5 years. when i do go now i have a police escort & two armed bodyguards, evidently for good reason. i have such a great collection of witnesses now and I’m really excited to get my day in court and see justice prevail.”
As Oh No They Didn’t points out, Azalea also had a few choice words for the boys and girls over at XXL. In her humble opinion, a music magazine shouldn’t concern itself with this swampy brand of tabloid garbage.
