Was Talks Of Caroline Manzo’s Husband’s Affair Edited Out Of ‘RHONJ?’

Caroline Manzo appeared to have moved on from The Real Housewives of New Jersey in order to star in her new show Manzo’d With Children. However, there may be more to the story. According to a new report, Manzo quit the Bravo reality series after the on-again, off-again friend of Teresa Giudice, Penny Drossos, brought up claims of her husband Albert’s alleged affair while filming.

“Caroline ripped off her microphone and bolted out the door,” an insider told Radar Online on Oct. 13. “That’s the real reason she left the show.”

While filming on the fifth season finale, Caroline Manzo, who The Inquisitr recently revealed still watches the show, reportedly accused Drossos of creating drama among the cast members. In response, Drossos snapped back at the mother of three, allegedly telling her “F**k you, the Jill card is on the table.”

“Jill is Al’s longtime mistress,” the source revealed. “Caroline knew exactly who Penny was talking about, and didn’t want to deal with it.”

Despite what sounded like a dramatic and shocking moment, the footage never made it to air. “If Caroline wasn’t coming back to the show, there was no reason to air it,” the source said. “She wouldn’t be back next season to defend herself.”

Bravo producers allegedly did their best to stir the pot, enlisting Penny Drossos to confront Caroline Manzo about her husband’s alleged infidelities. “Penny knows Jill and told Teresa about the cheating. Teresa then told producers, who wanted Penny to bring it up on camera,” said the insider. “But Penny held back out of respect for the Manzo family. When Caroline went after her unprovoked, Penny lost it and threw the affair in her face.”

At the reunion special last year, Manzo admitted to questioning her husband’s faithfulness. “For me to think for a moment that he has been completely faithful for 32 years, I think that’s a foolish way to think,” she said.

Manzo also addressed an on-screen dispute between herself and Albert, during which he told her to “Shut the f**k up” in front of their children. After asking Andy Cohen if he felt she was the type of woman to put up with abuse, she explained, “You know, I’m with him 32 years. Am I going to sit here and try and say we don’t fight? Of course, we fight. We fight like crazy, but I would die for him and vice versa.”

In April, The Inquisitr reported news of Manzo’s reality show, which recently premiered on Bravo.
