Demi Lovato Engaged: Valderrama Out? [Video]
E! Online is reporting that Demi Lovato is engaged.
During Saturday’s concert in Moline, Illinois, Lovato made the announcement to the audience
“Well guys, we have big news tonight. I’m engaged!”
Recently, The Inquisitr reported that Demi Lovato was head over heels for older beau, Wilmer Valderrama, nevertheless she instantly accepted the very public marriage proposal delivered on stage that night.
Lovato stopped the show mid-concert, walking away from her piano. She explained to the crowd that she could see a photo of “the cutest little boy” with a poster for her that read, “I have a ring for you.” Referencing Valderrama, she commented that she might have to tell “somebody” that she’s engaged and that “someone beat you to it.”
She invited the boy to come up to the stage. It turned into a moment that neither will soon forget. According to Gossip Cop, Lovato is the little boy’s favorite singer, and he apparently decided to try taking things to the next level at Saturday’s concert
The boy introduced himself as Grant, and when asked, indicated that he was 5-years-old.
“Where’s that ring, hmm?” the pop star asked the boy. He pointed out into the darkness because he’d forgotten to bring it up to the stage with him.
“I think since you’re up here we should make it official,”
After some prompting, the boy got down on one knee, and following her lead, repeated the words, “Demi, will you marry me?” Lovato and everyone else in the iWireless Center seemed to swoon.
He slid a bright green ring on her middle finger and she gasped, “I will! You put the ring on the right finger too! Thank you!”
She then asked for a kiss on the cheek, which he happily obliged to do before tearing up.
“I love you so much and you are so sweet and I can’t wait to see you at the wedding,” she gushed.
“Well guys, we have big news tonight. I’m engaged! To a five-year-old! My heart just melted. That was the cutest thing ever. I wasn’t expecting that tonight. I really wasn’t.”

After the show, Demi Lovato posted an Instagram photo of the proposal, writing, “Oh and by the way guys…… I’M ENGAGED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” She added, “Thank you to my future husband Grant… #CUTESTEVER #demiworldtour.”
Wilmer Valderrama and Demi Lovato have been together since 2010, but they work hard to keep their private relationship out of the spotlight.
