Jennifer Lawrence Admits Loving A Man 40 Years Older Than Her, Larry David’s Response
Sixty-seven-year-old Larry David should be grinning from ear to ear to learn that the lovely Jennifer Lawrence admits she is in love with him. Jennifer spilled the beans about her long-time crush for the co-creator of Curb Your Enthusiasm and Seinfeld during an interview with Vanity Fair. The 24-year-old Hunger Games actress was quite open about her feelings.
“I’m in love with him, and I have been for a really long time.”
This statement was read aloud to Larry David in front of an audience at the 15th annual New Yorker Festival. Larry David was being interviewed by The New Yorker‘s David Remnick when suddenly during a barrage of questions, Lawrence’s confession and profession of love for David was blurted out. David could have had any number of responses to Jennifer’s statement. But, according to Time, he was a complete gentleman.
“Smart kid. It’s a shame I’m about 40 years older than she is.”
Remnick couldn’t leave well enough alone as he continued to read more of Jennifer Lawrence’s proclamation regarding her feelings towards David, according to Yahoo!News.
“I worship Woody Allen, but I don’t feel it below the belt the way I do for Larry David.”
Quick witted David came back with a quick retort before the moment became to embarrassing.
“Maybe she’s referring to her knees. I don’t think I could do it. On one hand it’s very flattering and on another hand, it’s kind of a shame — in terms of timing. I’d have fun watching the reality show of it though.”
Larry David will continue living his life without Jennifer Lawrence as his love interest. Fans hope that he will reignite Curb Your Enthusiasm. Yahoo! News reports that he admits there is still a chance for it’s return of a 9th season.
“I’m not tired of it. Other things have come up. After a while you’re competing against yourself. There’s no ‘Palestinian Chicken.’ I’m intimidated by some of the great shows that I did in past seasons. I’m not ruling it out. I would consider it.”
Jennifer Lawrence is also involved in a romance with Coldplay’s front man Chris Martin, who also happens to be Gwyneth Paltrow’s ex-husband. One can’t help but wonder how Chris must feel about Jennifer’s unrequited love for Larry David. However, Jennifer’s grandmother, Carolyn Koch, did let the cat out of the bag that Jennifer flew her mom out to Los Angeles to meet Chris, as reported by The Daily Mail. Jennifer’s mom evidently approved based on her Grandma’s statement.
“We will have to get another chair for the dinner table at Christmas.”
