‘Days Of Our Lives’: EJ Is Dead – Sami Says An Emotional Goodbye To Her Husband

Days of Our Lives fans watched as EJ DiMera was shot dead on Friday’s shocking episode. EJ was killed by Clyde and his assistant in Salem Park, and died in the arms of his beloved wife, Sami Brady.

Now, this week on Days of Our Lives, Sami Brady will be forced to face the fact that her husband, EJ DiMera, won’t recover from his gunshot wounds this time, and has died.

Actress Alison Sweeney will deliver a very powerful performance as Sami Brady, saying goodbye to her longtime love, EJ, played by actor James Scott.

Days of Our Lives fans know that both James Scott and Alison Sweeney have decided to leave the NBC soap opera, and have already finished filming their stints on the show.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Scott’s character, EJ DiMera, has been written off, and Sweeney’s on-screen alter ego, Sami Brady, who has been a Days of Our Lives fan favorite for over two decades will soon follow.

Days of Our Lives viewers believe that Sami and her children will leave Salem in the wake of EJ’s death for a new start, but will return from time to time for special occasions, as Alison Sweeney has already revealed, she wants to be a part of the show’s big anniversaries when they pop up.

Sami will have her hands full this week, as she’ll be forced to say a tearful goodbye to EJ, tell her children that their father has died, and plan a funeral for her fallen husband, Celeb Dirty Laundry reports.

Thankfully, Sami Brady has a lot of family members to lean on, and she will get support from mother Marlena, father Roman, oldest son Will, and ex-husband Lucas Horton this week on Days of Our Lives.

Although Sami and Lucas couldn’t make their romantic relationship work, they still love each other very much, and have a very strong bond that comes from over twenty years of friendship.

Days of Our Lives fans have seen Sami and Lucas go through it all, but always come out with a mutual affection for one another, and can usually laugh about the stunts they’ve pulled together in the past.

Days of Our Lives fans will likely be in tears upon watching Sami Brady say her final goodbye to husband EJ DiMera this week, but will be even more upset by the fact that both Alison Sweeney and James Scott are leaving the show.
