Robin Williams Marries Susan Schneider in California

Robin Williams got married over the weekend to Susan Schneider at the Nappa Valley Meadowood Resort in St. Helena, California.

Williams, 60, has been dating Schneider for about two years. The Guardian reports that Williams and Schneider met shortly before the actor had heart surgery in 2009. Schneider reportedly helped nurse the Academy Award winning actor back to health and back to the stage.

This is Williams third marriage. He currently has three children from his previous two marriages. Williams and Valerie Velardi had one child together, Zachary, 28, during their ten year marriage. Williams had Zelda, 22, and Cody, 19, with his second wife, Marsha Garces. The Daily Mail reports that Williams’ divorce from Garces was just finalized last year.

Zelda, who got her sense of humor from her famous father, tweeted:

“Let the wedding madness begin! Dad just called @RobertKazinsky and @ShannonCollis my hetero-lifemates at the wedding.”

And then:

“Just realized my tweets have probably been misconstrued. No, it’s not my wedding, haha. Thanks for the congratulations regardless. The wedding festivities rage on but my tired feet are done. Think it’s time to lay in the tub, eat m&m’s and write.”

Williams, who has been working in TV and movies since the 70s, was joined by several celebrities at the Nappa Valley resort to celebrate his wedding. Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, and Billy Crystal were all in attendance at Robin Williams‘ wedding.
