While not yet confirmed word has it that Taylor Armstrong of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is getting axed before the new season goes into production. According to reports Bravo and the shows other actresses have become fed up with Taylor’s constant crying and “neediness” which in turn has led to her ouster.
You may recall that Taylor’s husband Russell Armstrong killed himself in August while at the Los Angeles home of a family friend. Taylor discovered her husbands body after nearly 10-years together.
Taylor claimed that she suffered years of emotional, verbal, and physical abused at Russell’s hands and while that may or may not be the case her co-stars are apparently sick of her constant pity parties
The The National Enquirer claims Bravo’s Head of Programming Andy Cohen has given Armstrong the pink slip at the prodding of his other stars, according to one studio insider:
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was turning into the Taylor Armstrong therapy. Whenever the wives are together, Taylor would somehow manage to start crying and complaining about her life. Taylor is telling friends that the show was the only income she had to take care of herself and her 5-year-old daughter Kennedy. But she drove everyone away with her neediness.”
You may have seen Armstrong on Access Hollywood’s last week the soon to be former reality TV star said she would love to return for a new season, noting:
“I love my cast and Bravo has been amazing to me. I’m absolutely open to it,” while adding, “Again, it depends the most for me on whether it’s the right choice for [my daughter] Kennedy. I really have to see how she’s doing and make sure it’s the right choice for her.”
With the amount of botox Armstrong has underwent it will be hard to tell if she’s truly sad about leaving the show based on her one facial expression. Are you happy to see Taylor leaving the show or do you think she added some type of needed element to the reality TV series?
