J.J. Watt Has More Touchdowns This Season Than Calvin ‘Megatron’ Johnson
J.J. Watt is a defensive end for the Houston Texans. And so far this season, Watt has scored more touchdowns than Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin “Megatron” Johnson.
According to a report from Sports Illustrated, during the 33-28 loss against AFC South rival Indianapolis Colts, J.J. Watt recovered a fumble and returned it 45 yards to the end zone. This latest touchdown marks the third for Watt this season, and he now has as many as New Orleans Saints receiver Jimmy Graham, Carolina Panthers receiver Kelvin Benjamin, and Atlanta Falcons receiver Julio Jones.
The other two touchdowns that J.J. Watt scored were off of an interception and when he went in on offense as a receiver. On Twitter, Pro Football Talk managing editor Michael David Smith that the different kinds of touchdowns Watt has is not something that is often seen in football.
JJ Watt is the 5th player in NFL history to have a fumble return TD, receiving TD and INT TD in the same season. First in 53 years.

There was a moment during the Texans/Colts matchup in which Watt could have scored another touchdown, as he attempted to intercept a screen pass from Colts quarterback Andrew Luck. After the game, Luck told reporters that J.J. Watt is a tough player.
“You absolutely have to be aware for where he is on the field — a lot of respect for the way that guy plays football, he’s a premier football player. We knew our backs were going to help out, we were going to try to double him as much as we could. He obviously disrupted some of the plays and made some big ones, but I thought our guys did a nice job hanging with him.”
In addition to the touchdown, J.J. Watt also had seven tackles — three of which resulted in loss of yards — and two pass deflections against the Colts. With the way Watt is playing, one person suggested he campaign to be the next president of the United States.
I’m going to go ahead and start a @JJWatt for president 2016 campaign. Clearly he can do anything, why not run the country
