Kate Middleton Reportedly ‘Overwhelmed’ That She’s Pregnant With Twin Girls
Kate Middleton has reportedly been suffering from a terrible case of morning sickness during the first trimester of her second pregnancy, and has been out of action as far as royal public engagements are concerned for a couple of months now.
Obviously, with royal pregnancies, the tabloids in Britain jump to conclusions pretty quickly, especially when it comes to guessing and revealing the sex of the forthcoming prince or princess.
Due to the fact that Kate Middleton hasn’t been up to making public appearances recently, she hasn’t been seen by anyone outside the palace for a while, fueling rumors.
But according to a report on Hollywood Life, quoting the front page of Star magazine, the royal couple are expecting twin girls.
A longtime friend of Kate and William told the publication that the couple were shocked when they saw the latest ultrasound.
“When they looked at the screen and saw two tiny human beings, they were completely overwhelmed. Will said Kate’s mouth dropped open and her eyes almost popped out of her head, then she squealed, ‘Oh my God!’ He’ll never forget the look on her face — it must have been priceless!”
The reports have had the internet buzzing, with comments speculating whether the rumors of twin royal princesses are true.
According to the longtime friend, the Duchess and the Prince are making no secret of the fact they are expecting twins, as they have openly shared the news with family and friends.
The friend said, “William phoned his father straightaway to give him the good news.” The queen was apparently told the good news in person following the ultrasound, after Prince William drove to Windsor Castle to tell his grandmother about the twins.
Naturally, it remains to be seen whether the latest tabloid rumors concerning Kate Middleton’s pregnancy are true or not, although usually in cases such as these there’s “no smoke without fire,” and there’s no doubt there will be more news soon from the palace.
