Desiree Hartsock And Chris Siegfried Talk ‘The Bachelorette’ Wedding, Baby Plans
Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried of The Bachelorette are still living happily together in Seattle, Washington; the place where they’ve been together since their finale aired last year. Fans are anxious for updates about Chris and Desiree’s wedding and other plans for the couple’s future. Are wedding bells and baby booties coming along soon?
Though every previous The Bachelorette and The Bachelor couple has had a televised wedding on ABC, it seems that’s not in the cards for Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried. Spoiler guru Reality Steve said some time back that ABC had passed on doing a televised wedding for Des and Chris, and it appears that indeed is true. Recently, Siegfried was asked on Twitter if the couple had any televised appearances coming up. Sadly for fans, Chris replied that, unfortunately, he didn’t think so.
Despite that, Chris and Des are making plans for the future, and it seems there will be a wedding not far down the road. The Bachelorette couple previously indicated that they are aiming for a January 2015 wedding date, but they still haven’t revealed a more specific date than that. They have said that they anticipate getting married in California, and many of the details apparently have been determined. Unfortunately, it seems it just won’t include cameras so it can be shared with The Bachelorette fans.
Desiree and Chris chatted with The Nest, and they said that what makes them most excited about being married is just the opportunity to share their life together and plan a future with “little ones.” While The Bachelorette fans would love to hear more about Chris and Desiree’s plans for having kids, the site didn’t push for specifics beyond that. Will they work toward a pregnancy soon after getting married? Many fans wouldn’t be surprised if that were indeed the case, but they’ll have to stay tuned on that front for now.
Though many fans of the show had their doubts about the couple’s future as Hartsock and Siegfried’s finale aired, given the drama that led up to the final rose ceremony, these two have stuck together. Des and Chris say that they love living a pretty low-key life together in Seattle, and their partnership has progressed pretty easily and naturally.
For now, fans will have to stay tuned for more specifics regarding Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried’s wedding. While The Bachelorette stars’ wedding may not end up on ABC, fans will be eager to see pictures and celebrate with them as much as they can.
