Caroline Manzo ‘Blown Away’ By Giudice Sentencing: ‘God Bless Those Kids’
Caroline Manzo spoke out about Teresa and Joe Giudice’s prison sentence, and she is beside herself. According to Radar Online, the reality star (who now has her own RHONJ spinoff) sat down with Andy Cohen on Sunday night for Watch What Happens Live, where she was asked about her feelings on the whole “Giudices are going to jail” thing. Although Caroline and Teresa are no longer friends, the mom of three voiced her opinion on the matter — and did so tastefully.
“I’m blown away — I’m blown away by the whole thing, It’s so much bigger than the [Real] Housewives, it’s so much bigger than Bravo, it’s just life-changing for these people and their children. The only think I can think of is their kids — God bless those kids — you know, it is what it is, and it happened and I can’t wrap my head around it, it’s a lot,” Manzo told Cohen.
Caroline Manzo is hardly ever afraid to speak her mind, and while she has done her fair share of trash talking, she remained completely respectful of the Giudices while speaking with Andy Cohen. In many ways, people respect Caroline for her class, and it’s great to hear her speak openly and honestly about the situation without being mean.
“To me, it’s just something that I hope that people, for the sake of the children, keep your opinions to yourself on social media and stuff like that and just understand, this is tragic, this is sad and I — I can’t judge them and I won’t judge them, because I don’t know what happened.”
According to Entertainment Weekly, Manzo’d With Children is a hit. The family gave fans just what they wanted — just what the Manzo’s do best. The sibling rivalry (albeit playful) between Albie, Chris, and Lauren is almost refreshing. The relationship that Caroline has with her husband, Al, is also nice to see (even though he wasn’t in the first episode) — it’s not often that people get to enjoy a “happy” family made up of its original parts, especially nowadays. The mag did slam the network for scripting their reality show, however, and making things more about the kids than the family.
Caroline Manzo doesn’t seem to miss her time on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Caroline previously admitted that she still watches RHONJ from time to time, but she’s focused on her own life now… and she’s hoping that she and her family have their own success with their show.
