Hannah Davis: 24-Year-Old Swimsuit Model Could Become Mrs. Derek Jeter

Hannah Davis could become Mrs. Derek Jeter this weekend.

The New York Yankees star has booked a swanky party spot in Long Island, which some believe is for a secret wedding to his longtime girlfriend. There is some speculation among high-end vendors that the event is indeed a wedding ceremony, though others say it is just a retirement party for Jeter, who just ended his 22-year playing career.

News of the secret wedding has piqued interest in Hannah Davis, the 24-year-old Sports Illustrated swimsuit model.

As Larry Brown Sports noted, Derek and Hannah have been a hot item for a long time and have even sparked marriage rumors in the past.

“Jeter and Davis first began dating in the summer of 2012, supposedly. There were some rumors last year that the two were engaged after Davis was spotted with a big ring on her finger, but that turned out to be a bunch of nonsense. There were some rumors that they broke up in February, but if that report was true, it was short-lived; they quickly got back together.

“Things have become pretty serious between them ever since. Jetes had dinner with Davis’ family at the beginning of the season, and Hannah has been attending many of his games — both at home and on the road.”

Davis was in the spotlight earlier this summer, when television cameras caught her sitting with Jeter’s family at the MLB All-Star Game. But overall, the couple have avoided the limelight, and not much is known about how serious they are about the relationship or if they have plans to marry.

But Davis is far from a nobody. Aside from being featured in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, she also gained fame for a controversial television commercial for a Air New Zealand in which she and other scantily clad models were shown giving pre-flight safety instructions.

After this weekend, Hannah Davis could have another title — Mrs. Derek Jeter.
