Selena Gomez Gets ‘Never Ending’ Family Love After Justin Bieber Split
Selena Gomez has shared what seems a timely message about love in a sweet Instagram pic of herself with her grandfather, amid speculation she has ended her on-off relationship with on-off boyfriend Justin Bieber.
“Papa has ears that truly listen (sometimes), arms that always hold and love that’s never-ending,” the 22-year-old wrote by a photo of herself and grandfather David Cornett, who wraps the starlet in a hug while planting a kiss on her forehead in what appears to be her Angeles home.
Selena’s expression in the shot and her caption gives off impression of someone receiving reassurance from her “Papa” at an apparently emotional time.
The Latina unfollowed Justin on Instagram on Wednesday after firing off two cryptic tweets suggesting the honeymoon is over, the same day she flew back to Los Angeles after their messy Paris Fashion Week trip.
It’s speculated Gomez was angered by Bieber taking pal supermodel Kendall Jenner out to dinner at a cozy Paris restaurant on Tuesday, and later hanging out with Kardashian-Jenner clan at a star-studded fashion party that Selena also attended.

Although photos of the Canadian singer with the reality TV family, Chanel’s designer Karl Lagerfeld and others surfaced, there are none of Justin and Selena together at the bash.
Following their alleged dust-up in the City of Light, the 20-year-old heartthrob stayed on in Paris for two days. During which time he shot a photo shoot with Lagerfeld and posed for a pic with Brit rocker icon Sir Mick Jagger and funkster Lenny Kravitz at a nightclub opening.

Still, Selena’s next tweets after her shared selfie with her “papa” suggest she is keeping her spirits up.
“Playing tourist with my grandparents today. Why does that mean I just know the best restaurants. – I like food a lot,” she joked, adding, “Have a good day y’all! x.)”
While it remains to be seen what happens next in Justin and Selena’s ongoing drama, her grandparents — David and wife Debbie, who adopted Selena’s mom, Mandy, as a baby in 1976, and raised her in Grand Prairie, Texas — appear to be helping their grandchild.
Mail Online reports Mandy married Ricardo Joel Gomez at just 16, and divorced five years later.
She then moved herself and her child to L.A, becoming Selena’s manager as her child star career began. Mandy remarried in 2006, hitching up with Brian Teefey, with whom she had a second daughter — Gracie — in 2013.
For his part, Justin hasn’t addressed the chatter about his alleged fall-out with Selena. But, he did post an irritated tweet over TMZ insinuating that he was sniffing around Paris Hilton, after he went to a Paris nightclub she just happened to deejay at earlier this week.
The Biebs quickly deleted the tweet after posting, but the Internet forgets nothing.
“Believe anything u want but don’t believe I went out with Paris Hilton, smh just cuz we’re seen at the same event.”No offence. But ew,” he wrote.

According to his social media postings, Justin has now left Paris. As yet it’s unclear if he is heading home to Selena to mend alleged fences, or off elsewhere.
But whether it’s the “never ending” ballad of Jelena or another drama, the singer seems to be feeling a tad blue.
Later Saturday, Justin posted a reflective Instagram snap, captioned, “Thank you lord for my blessing.”
