Andy Cohen Interviews Giudices After Sentencing: Teresa Angry Joe ‘Screwed Her Over’
Andy Cohen sat down with Joe and Teresa Giudice on Friday, one day after the RHONJ stars were sentenced to serve time in federal prison by Judge Esther Salas. Cohen, who is an executive producer of The Real Housewives franchise, shared a photo from the Watch What Happens: Live set after wrapping up an interview with Joe and Teresa that will air on Bravo on Monday night.
Oddly enough, Joe was smiling, but Teresa looked angry and not at all pleased to be on the WWHL set with Andy and Joe. Although she was holding her husband’s hand, Radar Online reports that Teresa is fuming because Joe didn’t live up to his promise to take the fall for her.
The photo was taken less than 24 hours after Joe was sentenced to 41 months in prison, yet one of Andy’s Instagram followers pointed out that he looked “happy.” Did he have a nip from Andy’s bar or was he just relieved that sentencing day was finally over?
Joe’s smirk was in start contrast to Teresa’s “if looks could kill” expression. Radar Online reports that the RHONJ star, who will serve 15 months in prison starting in January, was “fuming” that Joe “screwed her over” after promising her he would take the blame for everything.
“At the hearing, Teresa said through clenched teeth that she feels like Joe had royally screwed her over… she is just absolutely stunned — not only that she was sentenced to 15 months in prison, but that she has to serve the time before Joe serves his time. She feels screwed.”
It’s likely that Teresa was also very unhappy that she had to do an unpaid interview with Andy Cohen. The reality TV star was rumored to be in talks with other networks to do a paid interview, but Bravo was first in line due to her contract with the network. Radar’s sources state that Teresa Giudice “will not give Andy an emotionally-charged interview” due to the feuds they had in the past, not to mention the fact that she won’t get paid for her appearance on the show.
“The last thing Teresa wants to do is do an interview with Andy about how she feels about whatever the criminal punishment will be,” the source adds. “She will do it, and plans on being as non-emotional as possible. There is no way Andy is going to make Teresa cry.”
The special Watch What Happens Live interview with Joe and Teresa Giudice airs at 9 p.m. ET on Monday, October 6. Do you think Teresa will have an emotional breakdown on the set or will she give Andy and Joe the cold shoulder?
