Zoe Saldana Twins: Actress Shares Major News About Her Pregnancy
After months of speculation, Zoe Saldana is confirming the rumors: she is pregnant with twins.
On Wednesday, during an interview with E! News, the 36-year-old hinted about the babies she is about to welcome. At the opening of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Hollywood Costume exhibit, Zoe was asked if she will be celebrating Halloween.
“I might,” the Guardians of the Galaxy actress replied. “I might need three costumes. I might have to make some adjustments, but it would be nice.”
On Wednesday, Zoe showed off her growing figure in a pink trapeze-style gown by Dior. People Magazine reported that Zoe is encouraging other expectant mothers to show off their baby bumps.
“It’s just wear what feels comfortable. But whatever it is you’re feeling internally, doesn’t mean that you have to look it. If you’re having morning sickness, please don’t dress like a ‘morning sick’ person. Make an effort and look beautiful because it’s a beautiful time.”

Zoe has been candid about her desire to start a family. According to E! News, she expects to have at least two or three kids.
“Or four or five! I don’t care. They’re just so delicious. I love the anxiety, the pressure of the loud room full of yapping kids. But I’m a kid myself. I get along very well with animals and children. I dig them. I get them. They make perfect sense to me. A child speaks more sense than an adult half of the time.”
In June, the Inquisitr initially reported that Zoe was pregnant with twins. At the time, a source close to Zoe said the actress “was thrilled” about the news.
Zoe and her husband, Marco Perego, have been tip-lipped throughout the pregnancy. However, the summer’s ice bucket challenge phenomenon pushed Zoe to finally share the news. In a video posted to YouTube, Zoe explained, “Obviously, I can’t do [the ice bucket challenge] myself.” She then turned sideways to show off her growing tummy and said, “[S]o I nominate my husband to take on the challenge and get rinsed with a nice bucket of ice water.”
Zoe and Marco were married in 2013 during a secret ceremony in London. The twins will be the first children for the couple.
