Did Bethenny Frankel Just Confirm Return to ‘Real Housewives of New York?’

Bethenny Frankel has been out doing press lately for her new children’s book, Cookie Meets Peanut and since the newest season of The Real Housewives of New York has just ended, it is natural that she would be faced with questions about the show. Bethenny herself left the show after the third season, because she was offered a spin-off to document her wedding and the birth of her daughter, Bryn.

Bethenny Frankel thought it was a crazy experience being on the show and it was during the third season, where Kelly Bensimon had an emotional breakdown while traveling with the ladies. This later became known as “Scary Island.” Frankel has often said that she has no interest in returning to The Real Housewives of New York, but she may be coming back to save the franchise.

According to a new US Weekly report, Bethenny Frankel is rumored to be returning for the show’s newest season, which is scheduled to start filming early next year. It is no secret that producers are making a last-ditch effort to save the ratings. Ever since new housewives Carole Radziwill, Aviva Drescher and Heather Thomson joined the cast, the ratings have been low.

Bethenny Frankel has always said that she needs a good reason to go back on the show. And she could use this venture to really promote her Skinnygirl empire that she built on the show a couple of years ago. Now, the Skinnygirl brand includes cocktail line, shapewear, bars, nutritional products, and several books.

When promoting Cookie Meets Peanut, Bethenny Frankel was asked if she would ever go back. And she had an interesting answer that may just have confirmed her return to The Real Housewives of New York.

“I’d have to be crazy,” she said, before adding, “I am crazy.”

According to the Inquisitr, it may be perfect for Bethenny Frankel to return now. She has previously revealed that she continues to talk to Ramona Singer, and Ramona could use a good friend to lean on as she is going through a divorce. Frankel is still in the divorce process from Jason Hoppy, so these two could have something to bond over.
