Another Violent Memphis Teen Mob Attack: Teens Beat Boy, Elderly Man
For the second time in a month, a violent mob of Memphis teenagers has viciously attacked innocent people. This time, there were four separate incidents at the same location within a few hours of each other.
According to News Max, a 46-year-old woman was driving wither her daughter near where a high school football game had taken place. As the crowd spilled out from the game, the woman found her car surrounded by a violent teen mob that had formed in the middle of the street.
“So we (were) just driving and all of a sudden all of the kids ran into the middle of the street. All of a sudden, just about 20 kids are on top of my car with about 40 more kids around my car and they kicking, they stomping, they jumping, you know they hitting the windows. They was just laughing and hollering, and doing what they were doing and having fun with it.”
At about the same time, a 51-year-old was driving through the same area when a violent teen mob blocked the street. He honked his horn to shoo them away, and instead the teens surrounded his vehicle, jumping on the hood and pounding on the windows. He was able to drive away, uninjured, and flag down police.
A few hours later, according to Memphis’ Commercial Appeal, a 16-year-old boy leaving the football game told police he was attacked by a 17-year-old; one of the same juveniles that had been questioned in the vehicle attacks. An hour after that attack, a 55-year-old man called police from the same location, reporting that he had been attacked by a violent teen mob.
In response to the violent teen mob attacks, Memphis Police Director Toney Armstrong said that he will be calling on Memphis schools to have a stronger police presence at school events.
“Due to these incidents occurring after a high-school football game, I will be reaching out to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and the Shelby County School District to ensure these school events have adequate law enforcement present.”
Earlier this month, according to this Inquisitr report, a violent teen mob assaulted random customers and employees in a Kroger parking lot in an incident that was captured on cell phone video.
