‘Bachelorette’ Star Emily Maynard Officially Changes Her Name To ‘Johnson’
Bachelorette star Emily Maynard has been looking for that special someone for years and it took her two reality shows to realize that her perfect man was right at home in Charlotte, North Carolina. Emily was one of the favorite women on Brad Womack’s season and the two got engaged. She was completely devastated when their relationship didn’t work out as expected.
Emily Maynard returned to become The Bachelorette and loved the experience. In the end, she had to choose between Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Jef Holm, the entrepreneur who impressed her on the first night with his laid-back attitude and his skateboarding skills. Emily picked Holm but the two soon split after realizing that they were just too different.
According to a new tweet, Bachelorette star Emily Maynard had her surprise wedding to her boyfriend, Tyler Johnson. She had revealed that she was dating someone who she had known prior to going on the show but she never thought that he would become her husband one day. It didn’t take a reality show for Emily’s story to end well. And now, she has a new name.

Last week, Emily Maynard decided to share some intimate details from her wedding, including a picture of herself at the altar with her now-husband, Tyler. It is no secret that Emily really wanted to find that wedded bliss. She has been engaged four times, so the fourth time appears to be the charm for her.
“I just really wanted to take the time to enjoy being married, my new family, our new home, and really just LIFE that I kind of checked out on life for a little while,” Emily Maynard explained of her dreams of marriage. “It’s been the best summer of my life, but now school is back in session which means I have the time to devote to my blog again.”
And it sounds like she got the surprise wedding she wanted. Rather than a big televised wedding like the other Bachelorette couples choose, Emily Maynard chose to go small and private. And she wanted the wedding to be a surprise.
“I’ve always wanted to have a surprise wedding, and with the help of the most amazing planner, Ivy Robinson, and swearing my family to secrecy, we almost pulled it off,” Emily revealed, adding, “To be honest, I think most people knew what was happening, but I just wanted the day to be about the love God has brought together and not seating charts, presents, and bridesmaids.”
At least Emily Maynard had some great hair at her wedding. After her wedding, she got a horrible haircut when she decided to get bangs, according to The Inquisitr.
