‘NCIS: LA’ Season 6 Premiere Spoilers: A Race Against Time With New Densi Drama
The NCIS: LA Season 6 premiere will air on CBS tonight. An all-new season on an all-new night will pick up the action right from the end of Season 5. It will be a race against time to save Callen and Sam from a submarine that is set to attack a location in San Diego. NCIS: LA is not planning to hold back at all during this premiere, but Deeks and Kensi will have their own problems to deal with while trying to save their friends. CBS shared a NCIS: LA clip that shows Kensi trying to deal with the return of Talia.
During this clip, Kensi sends Deeks off to interview a source instead of sending him alone with Talia. He has no idea why Kensi switches their roles for the case, but Talia gives Kensi a knowing look. Kensi and Deeks are still at the start of their relationship, and fans will see more bumps along the road.
This clip does show the women leaving Deeks behind, and there will be heated action between the two women. In fact, Talia and Kensi will fight it out during the episode. CBS released a behind-the-scenes look at the confrontation, and Daniela Ruah teased the fight between the two women set for the NCIS: LA premiere episode.
“When Kensi doesn’t know what to say, she throws a punch, or a head butt in this case. Two characters who are obviously very strong women. Kensi’s attracted to Deeks, Talia might also be attracted to him but also sees that this is sensitive ground and uses that to sort of prod and annoy Kensi and bring up subject matter that Kensi does not want to talk about, much less with her.”
Shane Brennan did tease to TV Line that fans of Deeks and Kensi will have a lot to be happy about during the NCIS: LA Season 6 premiere. Five seasons of dancing around the possibility of more for these two has finally ended, but it will not be easy.
The focus of the action during this NCIS: LA episode will be on Sam and Callen. The rest of the NCIS: LA team will need to save them before the submarine reaches its final destination, but the Navy is ready to step in and take out the submarine if necessary. Hetty will ignore orders and stay in California to help her team save Sam and Callen before it is too late. However, she will head to Washington D.C. during the start of NCIS: LA Season 6. Shane Brennan teased that someone will target Hetty, and fans will see her deal with a tragic loss. Someone very close to her will die.
NCIS: LA will move to a new Monday night time slot for Season 6, but Shane Brennan is not at all worried about the show airing on a new night. NCIS: LA is one of CBS’ top series, and it is one of three shows in the NCIS franchise. This season, NCIS: New Orleans joined NCIS: LA and NCIS. Shane Brennan spoke out about the new time slot and his plans for NCIS: LA on its new night.
“You know, one of the great things about our show — and this goes right across the board, to the writers, the cast, the crew – is that we have always done it at 100 percent. We’ve never backed off on anything, and we’re not backing off now in any way. We are going to try to make it as noisy as we possibly can, but for fans of the show who are concerned that the show may change by going to 10 pm, they’re going to be relieved to know that it will still be the same show that they’ve loved.”
Fans of the NCIS franchise have a lot to look forward to this season. The Inquisitr previously reported on a potential return of Cote de Pablo for NCIS Season 12, but Tony DiNozzo will have a new woman enter his life this season.
