George Clooney, Amal Alamuddin Having Children? ‘Time For Grandkids’ Says Amal’s Dad

Are George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin planning on having kids? According to Radar Online, Amal’s parents evidently want their daughter to have children. A source at the wedding reportedly overheard Amal’s dad, Ramzi Alamuddin, telling his new son-in-law, “Now it’s time for grandchildren,” this weekend.

Amal is 36-years-old and does not already have children. It’s unknown if she wants to have kids or if being a mother is something that she would enjoy (it’s not for everyone), but it sounds like her parents are hoping that she and George procreate. Clooney doesn’t seem like the type to have kids… but he didn’t really seem like the type to get married either, so who knows?

George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin tied the knot in Venice, Italy, on Saturday, Sept. 26. The pair have been celebrating all weekend long with family and friends, and based on what sources have leaked to the press, it sounds like everything was simply wonderful.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, George and Amal did their absolute best to keep people from taking and sharing photos from their wedding. In fact, the couple supposedly gave their guests cell phones and asked that they leave them back in their hotel rooms for the ceremony. The couple encouraged anyone who saw someone taking a photo to tell security. As for any official wedding photos, Vogue may release a special edition, as editor-in-chief Anna Wintour was a guest at Saturday’s event.

People Magazine reported that Clooney and Alamuddin enjoyed a dinner at Granaries of the Republic with about 100 guests on Sunday. As with everything this weekend, there was a lovely theme that encompassed love — even if that wasn’t the plan.

“For the happy couple’s Sunday dinner, the Granaries were decorated red: The facade was illuminated in red, local blown-glass Murano vases were filled with feathers and apples, and velvet pillows were placed on wrought-iron chairs.”

George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin will be legally married today. It is unknown if Amal plans on taking Clooney’s last name, however it is suspected that she will at least hyphenate. Further details about what the pair plan to do after their incredible weekend are unknown. George and Amal will more than likely take a honeymoon — somewhere ultra private — but the location is unconfirmed at this time. Rumor has it the couple will be spending a week or so in Marrakech, Morocco.
