Teresa Giudice On Social Media Lockdown, Attorneys ‘Furious’ With ‘RHONJ’ Star
Teresa Giudice’s lawyers are forcing her to keep a low profile just days prior to her upcoming fraud sentencing that is scheduled for October 2. Radar Online reports that the Real Housewives of New Jersey star’s lawyers told her she needs to stop tweeting, keep her $2,500 bags out of sight, and basically keep her lips zipped this week.
Teresa and her husband, Joe Giudice, will find out their fate on Thursday when a judge will announce their sentencing. While Joe could face four years in jail and possible deportation back to Italy, there are rumors that Teresa may end up getting sentenced to two years of home confinement instead of up more than two years behind bars.

The RHONJ star’s lawyers have been trying their best to convince a judge that Teresa should be sentenced to house arrest. Serving her sentence at home would enable her to care for her four children while her husband dons an orange jumpsuit and eats his meals on a styrofoam plate.
However, Radar Online reports her legal team thinks that she may screw up her chances at getting a home confinement anklet if she continues to use Twitter and keep over-sharing the details of her life.

Sources also tell Radar that her attorneys were “furious” that she was filmed carrying a pricey designer bag on a recent episode of RHONJ — that’s not something someone who claimed bankruptcy would normally have in their possession, even though Teresa states that producers gave it to her.
“After reading the report of Teresa carrying such a high priced designer bag, her lawyers were furious. It just looks bad after coming out of her bankruptcy drama. Teresa told her attorneys that the producers asked her to carry the designer handbag, and she felt obligated to do so, but they were still mad and told her to keep quiet.”
Teresa posted about going into social media lockdown on her Bravo blog earlier in the week, stating that she needed to “focus” on the the upcoming court date and would share the details “very soon.” This is otherwise known as listening to her lawyers.
“Wow. I really have so much to say. I will share, but I’m getting ready for the biggest day of our lives… now is the time when I need to focus on the next ten days and not comment on the episodes. I love the show. I love my fans. I will be telling you all along with my Bravo family very soon.?”
She hasn’t tweeted since September 25, although she is still re-tweeting from time-to-time, a sure sign that Teresa is having social media withdrawals in the days leading up to her court date.

Teresa and Joe have been very busy preparing for judgement day. According to NJ.com, they current have three houses on the market, and are hoping to cash in their real estate to pay off their mounting legal bills.
The couple is reportedly downsizing from their mega mansion, with Radar stating that Teresa’s credit is so bad that she will be lucky to find a “modest” condo” to live in while Joe is locked up in the big house. That’s assuming she is granted home confinement by the judge on Thursday.
What do you think will happen at the October 2 sentencing? Will Joe head to jail for the next four years, and will Teresa be granted home confinement?
